Return Policy

We want you to love your Bonny Bay jewels, so please choose carefully when making your selection.

Change of Mind

  • Full-priced items may be returned for a refund if:
    • Returned within 14 days of purchase.
    • The item is unworn, in original packaging, and is in brand new condition.
  • Refunds are processed back to the original payment method.
  • Items purchased during sale periods or with a promo code are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Exchanges for Wrong Size

  • We can offer an exchange only if you order the wrong size.
  • You must cover the cost of shipping the item back to us and the cost of sending the new item.
  • Items must be returned within 14 days of purchase, unworn, and in original packaging.

Earrings & Hygiene

We do not accept returns or exchanges on earrings due to hygiene reasons.

Faulty Items

  • Bonny Bay jewellery is handcrafted with care. We cover manufacturing faults only, such as a faulty clasp or stone setting.
  • We do not cover:
    • General wear and tear (including scratches, worn plating, dents or stretching of chains).
    • Damage from mishandling, dropping, or improper storage.
    • Tarnishing; tarnishing is not considered a fault, as it occurs when jewellery is exposed to chemicals or prolonged water contact.

If you believe your item has a manufacturing fault, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your item with clear photos and proof of purchase. We reserve the right to assess and determine if the fault is covered under our policy. Contact us at info@bonnybay.store.

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is deemed faulty.
  • We recommend using tracked postage, as we are not responsible for lost returns.

We reserve the right to refuse returns, repairs, or exchanges if the item does not meet our policy requirements.

Warranty & Repairs

All Bonny Bay jewellery comes with a 3-month warranty covering manufacturing defects for both our handcrafted and manufactured pieces. The warranty is void if the item has been misused, altered, or damaged due to improper care.

Our Warranty Covers:

  • Manufacturing faults such as:
  • Broken clasps due to a fault in the spring mechanism.
  • Loose or missing stones (with no signs of impact, bent prongs, or damage to the metal).
  • A fault caused by human error during the crafting process.

Our Warranty Does Not Cover:

The following are not covered under warranty:

  • Chain breakages, stretched, or bent chains.
  • Bent or broken earring posts or clasps.
  • Dents, scratches, chipping, or worn plating.
  • Tarnishing or discolouration.
  • Lost items.
  • Repairs or modifications made by third parties.
  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, pulling, catching, general wear and tear, or not following our Jewellery Care Instructions.

Manufactured Chains:

Chain breakages are not covered under warranty, as this type of damage is considered general wear and tear. While our chains are made to be strong, they are not unbreakable and can be affected by everyday movement, tension, or accidental snags.

Breaks are rarely spontaneous — what often happens is:

  • A small snag or tug weakens a link.
  • The chain appears fine, but the stress point remains.
  • Later, it gives way during regular wear, and the original pull isn’t always remembered.

We always recommend storing and handling your jewellery gently, avoiding snags, and following our Jewellery Care Instructions to prevent unnecessary stress on your pieces.
